Transferring Your Funeral Plan

Did you know it’s possible to transfer an existing preneed funeral plan to another funeral home?

Whatever the reason you are looking to switch, at Vining Funeral Home we will honor any current prearranged funeral plan if you choose to transfer it to us. You may be asking yourself; why would I want to transfer an existing preneed funeral plan?

Common Reasons For a Funeral Preneed Transfer

Funeral arrangements are important and you want to make sure you work with a funeral home you are satisfied with and can trust. There are many reasons for a funeral preneed transfer and we would be happy to assist you through the process.

Perhaps you made the arrangements years ago when the funeral home was under different ownership. Perhaps at the time you made your arrangements the funeral home had recently been renovated. If they have failed to maintain the funeral home and it now looks dated, it’s completely understandable to want to transfer your arrangements to a more modern, spacious facility.

Many families chose funeral homes because they are family-owned or they have a relationship with a funeral director employed there. If the funeral director is no longer involved with the firm or it is now corporately owned, many families will choose to transfer their preneed funeral plan to a firm they feel comfortable working with.

Transferring A Preneed Policy
