Trelva Carpenter Palmer

Trelva Palmer, a lifelong resident of Thatcher, entered into eternal life Tuesday morning, May 17, 2022, with her children at her bedside. Trelva was 88.

Trelva leaves to mourn: her four children, Dennis (Margaret), Diane Mangum (Glenn), Steven (Bridget) and Susan; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren who adored her. Trelva was reunited with her eternal companion, Verle, who preceded her in March 2012.

Funeral services for Trelva will be conducted Saturday morning, May 21, 2022, at 10:00 a.m., at the Thatcher Stake Center of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints by Bishop Wayne Nelson of the Thatcher Fourth Ward. Concluding services will follow in the Thatcher Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Saturday morning, May 21, 2022, from 9:00 a.m. until 9:45 a.m., at the Thatcher Stake Center Relief Society Room of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Trelva was three years Young Women's President followed by three years as Relief Society President; she was so genuine in her concern for old and young alike that all respected and loved her. Former Bishop

She was my primary teacher the year I turned 8 years old. I still have a Christmas ornament she made for me that year. Such a beautiful person.
