Stephen Silva

Walter Stephen Silva, a resident of Safford and a United States Army veteran, peacefully joined the spirit Army whose footfalls cause no sound on Monday evening, July 22, 2019, at the Southern Arizona Veterans Hospital in Tucson, following a lengthy illness. Stephen was 74. A Celebration of Stephen's Life will be conducted Saturday, August 3, 2019, at 11:00 a.m., at the Safford American Legion Swift Murphy Post 32. Military honors will be conferred by the Gila Valley Veteran Honor Guard. All Gila Valley veterans are invited to attend.
