Shirley Alexander

Shirley June Alexander entered into peaceful eternity on October 8, 2021, at the age of 84. She was born on July 13, 1937, on her great-grandmother's Jane Pender's farm, near the town of Wyandotte, Oklahoma. The Lord chose absolutely wonderful parents for Shirley; Sylvester (Buck) Deweese and Ernestine Cape Deweese.

Shirley met her soul mate in 1955, Harold L. Alexander. They were married on June 5, 1955, and were together for 64 years. Of this union, two exemplary children were born; Harold L. Alexander Jr. and Rosalynde Alexander.

Shirley was predeceased by: her husband, Harold L. Alexander; and parents, Buck and Ernestine Deweese.

She is survived by: her two children, Harold L. Alexander, Jr. (wife, Teresa), Rosalynde Alexander (fiancé, Steve); sisters, Carol Jean Deweese Clark, Rosemary Deweese Rice (husband, Dick); nephews, Brent Perkins, Brian M. Rice; and nieces, Andrea Jones (husband, David), Blanche Holubik (husband, David), and Tawana Fox-Taffolla.

Graveside funeral services for Shirley will be conducted Friday, October 15, 2021, at 2:00 p.m., in the Safford Cemetery.
