Robert Jones

Robert Jones, 79, of Safford, AZ, passed away on January 18, 2023.  He was surrounded by his family and loved ones.

Robert is survived by: his beautiful wife, Lynne Jones; children, Jennifer & David Cluff, Jared & JoElayne Jones, Jonathan & Launa Jones, Jana Jones and Jordan & Allie Jones; also by 13 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. 

After Robert attended Tucson High school, he served a two-and-a-half-year mission in Uruguay and went on to study at EAC, where he met his wife. He then continued to the University of Arizona earning a bachelor's degree in Psychology, Political Science and a Masters in Family Counseling. 

Robert was a marriage and family counselor who touched many lives. He was a lover of all things basketball, serving others and being with his family.

Funeral services for Robert will be conducted Saturday, January 28, 2023, at 10:00 a.m., at the Safford Stake Center of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (501 W. Catalina Drive, Safford, AZ 85546), by Bishop Floyd Nuttall of the Safford 4th Ward. Concluding services will follow in the Thatcher Cemetery.

Family will receive friends Saturday morning, January 28, 2023, from 9:00 a.m. until 9:45 a.m., in the Safford Stake Center Relief Society Room.
