Robert Cazares, a longtime resident of the Gila Valley, entered into eternal rest Monday morning, May 23, 2022, at his residence. Robert was 68.
A Celebration of Robert's Life will be conducted Friday morning, June 10, 2022, at 10:00 a.m., at Vining Funeral Home's "Chapel of the Valley". Concluding services will follow in the Safford Cemetery.

I didn't know Robert passed.
Just yesterday I was driving down by the hospital where I usually see him on his way to town and thought about him. Josie and I loved Robert, all of the SEACUS employees did. So sad to see he passed. Our deepest condolences to his family.

I've got to guess that lots of folks got to know Bobby back in the day when he traveled all over the town riding his bicycle. I was glad to know him well for a time and always found his sharing of ideas to be interesting, even when he occasionally and complained about everything under the sun. I knew him to have a heart of gold deep down inside. I'll keep his memory in a good place. I'm glad to have known Bobby.
