Robert P. Baca

Robert "Bob" Baca, age 71, passed away peacefully at home on April 18, 2023 with his family by his side. He was a lifelong resident of Clifton, Arizona.

     

Bob is the oldest child of Gilbert and Mary Baca. He loved his parents and three sisters: Carla, Rosanna, and Terri so much. Bob married the love of his life, Jackie (Lane) in 1972 and they had three daughters: Yvette (Sally), Kimberly (Jorge) and Pamela (Phillip). He worked for Phelps Dodge for 37 years as a tinsmith. He left a lasting impact on everyone he met and worked with throughout his years.

 

To his family his names were Hun, Dad and Papa. He was first and foremost a family man. He loved spending time with his family camping, fishing or just hanging out watching a movie or bbqing. He loved being "Papa" most of all to his 9 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.

 

He was our hero. He taught us faith, kindness, how to be strong and to always take care of family. These words describe him but there are no words big enough to express how much he meant to us. We will miss you Dad, Hun and Papa; until we see you again. We love you to the moon and back. Goodnight, God bless you and we love you.

 

A Celebration of Life for Bob will be conducted Tuesday, May 2, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. at Vining Funeral Home's "Chapel of the Valley".
