Molli Haught

December 10, 1963 — August 25, 2020

Molli A. Haught, of Duncan, entered into life eternal Tuesday, August 25, 2020, at the Hospice of the Valley Dobson Home in Chandler with her husband, Tom, at her side. She was 56. Molli Ann Reidhead Haught was born on December 10, 1963 as the sixth child of Doy and Leone Reidhead. She was determined to live and proved to be resilient from the beginning. This determination served her well. Early in her life she needed a kidney transplant and a match was found in her brother Teele Reidhead, who willingly stepped up and gave the gift of life. Molli knew how precious life was and she spent her time on earth truly living. She married the love of her life, Tom Levi Haught, on April 23, 1988. From that day forward, it was either Tom and Molli or Molli and Tom, but one was not without the other. They had two adorable children; Chelsi Ann Haught and Chance Levi Haught. Molli enjoyed being home with her kids and would craft, play, cook, and of course swim with them. Molli soon felt the urge to go back to school to earn her degree. She graduated with her teaching degree from NAU and started teaching first grade in Clifton, Arizona. The family decided to make the move from Clifton to Duncan where she accepted a job to teach 7th and 8th grade history. Molli had a love for history and enjoyed earning a master’s degree in history from the University of Virginia. Molli made one more career change and started teaching 5th grade at Fort Thomas Elementary School in 2015. Even though her round trip was 130 miles each day, she loved getting up and going to work every morning. Molli will best be remembered by her love for her husband and kids, her desire to serve others, her turquoise jewelry fetish, her inability to walk and chew gum at the same time, her sugar cookies, her ability to love and connect with kids and adults, her contagious laugh, her wit, her sarcasm, her hard work ethic, her Christlike love for others, but most important, her desire to live life to the fullest and make it fun along the way! Molli was a proud member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She served in various callings throughout her lifetime, but her favorite was teaching Young Women’s. She always felt a connection to the youth and enjoyed helping them grow closer to the Savior. Molli is survived by: her husband, Tom; her daughter, Chelsi Haught; her son, Chance (Britney) Haught; her grandson, Kayden Haught; her mom, Leone Reidhead; 3 brothers and 4 sisters; over a hundred nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. She leaves behind a legacy of love and her laughter. We love you Molli, until we meet again.... Funeral services for Molli will be conducted Friday, September 4, 2020, at 10:00 a.m., at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Duncan Stake Center by Bishop Steve Lunt of the Virden Ward.
