Marlin Lee Miller, Sr., a resident of Pima, entered into rest late in the evening of Saturday, September 4, 2021, at his residence, with his beloved wife of 58 years, Norma, at his side. Marlin was 83.
Marlin was born on February 17, 1938 to parents Joe and Gladys Miller. He married Norma, the love of his life, in 1963, who survives him. Marlin is also survived by: brothers Donald and Joe Jr. (Butch), sisters Doris Richards and Dorothy Miller, children Marlin Jr. and wife Tylene, David and wife Kim, Rick and wife Tanya, and Nathan and wife Debbie, as well as 10 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, and one due in December.
Marlin was known for his love of the outdoors, camping, hunting, Ford trucks and operating backhoes. He enjoyed each hunt and camping trip he spent with his boys, grandchildren, family and friends.
Funeral services for Marlin will be conducted Friday, September 17, 2021, at 10:00 a.m., at Vining Funeral Home's "Chapel of the Valley". Concluding services will follow in the Pima Cemetery with military honors being conferred by the Gila Valley Veterans Honor Guard.
Family will receive friends Friday, September 17, 2021, from 9:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m., also at the funeral home.
