Lanny Webb

Lanny Webb, of Safford, entered into life eternal Tuesday, October 26, 2021, at the St. Mary's Hospital in Tucson. He was 78.

Lanny Webb was born in Morenci, AZ, on July 9, 1943, to Chester and Lauretta Webb. He grew up in Lynwood, California, where he lived during his childhood and teen years. He was quite an athlete and won many awards.

Lanny worked for Southern California Gas Company and after retiring he moved to Safford. He bought 2 1/2 acres and it became his passion for growing trees, and flowers and landscaping. He became so good at it that he started a second career of servicing private homes and business around Safford creating beautiful landscapes.

He met and married his loving wife, Rizza, 17 years ago. They have 2 wonderful sons.

Lanny is survived by: his wife, Rizza Webb; sons, Landon and Lance Webb; sisters, Kathy Welker of Gilbert, and Debbie Mccleve of Queen Creek.

He is preceded in death by: his parents; and sister, Carolyn Webb.

Lanny will be greatly missed by his family.

Memorial Services for Lanny will be conducted Monday, November 1, 2021, at 11:00 a.m., at Vining Funeral Home's "Chapel of the Valley," by Bishop Rob Merrill of the Safford 8th Ward.
