Jacqueline Joyce Cooper, a resident of Pima, passed into peaceful rest with the Lord Thursday afternoon, July 28, 2022, at her residence, with her loving family gathered at her side. Jacqueline was 54.
Jacqueline or “Jackie” as she was known by most people, was born on August 16, 1967, in Morenci Arizona where she attended school and graduated from Morenci High School. In her years after high school she lived in California, Arizona and Texas where she worked many different jobs.
Most will remember her as an auto parts expert or her friendly smile and kind words while working janitorial at Freeport McMoRan Morenci. She was kind, generous to a fault, she loved writing poetry, fishing, playing pool, video games, painting, flying kites and Jesus. She didn't know a stranger and touched many lives in her short time here. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Jackie is survived by: her parents, Jack and Helen, of Pima; her siblings, Richard, Darelynn and James (Lydia) her children, Cody (Desirea), Jade (Jake) and Sarah; her grandchildren, Xavier, Mercedes, Vincent, Madison a Jaxon; numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, and many dear friends.
A Celebration of Jackie’s Life will be conducted Saturday, November 19, 2022, at 11:00 a.m., at Vining Funeral Home's "Chapel of the Valley."
