Helen Spokes

Helen Mary Spokes, of Clifton, entered eternal rest Wednesday, December 7, 2022, at the Haven of Safford. She was 88.

Helen was born in Hartford, Connecticut, on March 27, 1934, to Clarence Bill and Helen Hourihan Smith.

She is survived by: her children, William, Walter, Elizabeth, Vincent and Alice; her brother, Francis Smith; and numerous grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by: her husband, William George Spokes; her son, John Smith; and her parents.

Graveside services for Helen were conducted Tuesday, December 13, 2022, at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona in Phoenix, by Rev. Jose Jesus Lopez from the St. Daniel the Prophet Catholic Church in Scottsdale. She was laid to rest by her husband, William, who preceded her in 2018.
