Connie Smith

Connie Lee Smith, age 82, passed away the morning of May 20, 2023, at her home in Safford, Arizona. Connie was born in Lakeside, Arizona, on December 7, 1940, to Wallace and Nell Johnson. She attended and graduated from Lakeside High School in 1958, and then attended Lamson Jr Business College.

She married Eremon Jones in 1958 and they had three sons. She later married Robert “Bob” Smith in 1984 and they were together until he passed in 2005.  

She was also preceded in death by: her parents; three brothers, Randy and Rick Johnson and Jamie Graves; and two sisters, Flossie Johnson and Waldene Gann. 

She leaves behind: her sister, Rhonda (Bob) Kiepke; sons, Kevin, Darin (Stephanie), Derek (Linda) Jones; and stepchildren, Debi and Bobby Smith; 13 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
