Connie Mayo

Constance Lorraine Mayo, of Safford, entered into rest eternal Tuesday morning, August 9, 2022, at the Mt. Graham Regional Medical Center, with her husband of 58 years, Bob, watching over her. She was 81.

Connie was born in Pennsylvania to David and Virginia Wilson. She enlisted in the United States Army and served in the Korean War. She met and married Robert V. Mayo in Tucson, Arizona, while he was stationed at the Davis Monthan Air Force Base.

Connie is survived by: her husband, Bob; her two sons, Daniel and William; and two granddaughters.

Graveside funeral services for Connie will be conducted Wednesday, August 17, 2022, at 10:00 a.m., in the Safford Cemetery by Pastor Dan Keele of the Church of Christ.
