Claire M. Rhoads, a resident of Central, quietly passed into the eternities Sunday morning, June 27, 2021, at her residence. Claire was 97.
Born in Earlington, PA, Claire was the daughter of the late Norman and Genevieve (Jenks) Fluck. She graduated from Souderton High school in 1942. She worked as a cashier and assistant bookkeeper at the A&P Market on Broad Street in Lansdale before moving to Arizona.
Claire has resided in Arizona for the past 45 years. She was a long-time member of the Tortolita Presbyterian Church in Tucson, where she volunteered in the Church office.
Claire leaves behind: her two daughters, Karen L. House (Herbert), of Central and Carol Rhoads, of Phoenixville, Pennsylvania.
Claire was predeceased by: her beloved husband, Ernest.
Graveside services for Claire will be conducted Thursday morning, July 8, 2021, at 10:00 a.m.(EST), at the Whitemarsh Memorial Park in Ambler Pennsylvania with the Rev. Ron Coulton of the Valley Forge Baptist Temple officiating.
