Charlotte Evans

Charlotte Ann (Dover) Evans, age 73, entered into eternal rest October 23, 2021, in Phoenix, AZ. She was born February 6, 1948, in Safford, AZ, unto Fred Emerson and Olive Bell (Kerby) (Griffin) Dover of Pima, AZ.

She was preceded in death by: her parents, Fred Emerson and Olive Bell (Kerby) (Griffin) Dover; her sister, Freda Bell Dover, Pima, AZ; and brother, Eldon (Jean) Griffin, Laveen, AZ.

Charlotte is survived by: her siblings, Lon K. (Karen) Griffin, Clara Mattie (Ivan) Ferrin, and Raymond Verl (Jeanette) Dover; her daughter, Josette Loveon Evans (Holyoak); her grandchildren, Andrew Holyoak, Robert Holyoak, Adryanna Holyoak (Partner Josh Gilpin) and John Holyoak; her great-granddaughter, Haylee Ila Mae Gilpin.

Charlotte was a kind, caring, compassionate, loving daughter of God. She was a lifelong faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She served in several church callings including Primary Nursery Leader and Relief Society President. She loved to sing, dance, draw, paint pictures, camp, and picnic. She also rode her motorcycle to work. Christmas was her favorite time of the year. She set up several Christmas towns and was always sure gifts were given. She loved dolls and the water. The swimming pool was occupied by her as often as she could.

Most of all she loved all her family, extended family, her Heavenly Father and Savior Jesus Christ.

Graveside Funeral Services for Charlotte will be conducted Thursday, October 28, 2021, at 10:00 a.m., in the Pima Cemetery.
