Betty D. Verdugo

Betty D. Verdugo passed away peacefully on May 30, 2020, at her home in Clifton, surrounded by her family.

She was born in Morenci and was married to Frank Verdugo. Betty was the beloved mother of Donna Licano (Perry), Frances Marie Gonzalez and Kathy Horn (Paul), proud grandmother of Leslie, Krista, Christopher and Donna and great-grandmother to Kaylah, Reylie, Christopher, Olivia, Manuel, Jaymie, Andres, Pablito and Jayden and sister to Frank, Robert and Herbert Duarte. Betty was predeceased by: her mother and father; and by her daughter, Frances Marie Gonzalez. She is survived by: her husband, Frank Verdugo; her daughters, Donna Licano (Perry), of Chandler and Kathy Horn (Paul), of Queen Creek; her four grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

A private rosary and Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Thursday afternoon, June 4, 2020, at Holy Cross Church in Morenci with Rev. Nathaniel Mma.
