Alice Filleman

Alice Mae Filleman, a resident of Safford, entered into eternal life Friday afternoon, November 17, 2023, at her residence, surrounded by her loved ones. Alice was 89.

Alice leaves to mourn: her children, Alice Jo Forman, Penny Carpenter, Alex Pierson, James Pierson, Joy Miller, Margaret Wattier, Jodie Urias, Jacque Attaway and Debbie Dethereage; and numerous grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and great-great-grandchildren. Alice was predeceased by: her husband, George J. Filleman in 2004; and a son, Theodore Pierson.

Funeral services for Alice will be conducted Monday morning, November 20, 2023, at 10:00 a.m., at the Safford Stake Center of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints by Bishop Lamont Whetten, of the Safford Third Ward. Concluding services will follow in the Gila Valley Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends Monday morning, November 20, 2023, from 9:00 a.m. until 9:45 a.m., at the Safford Stake Center Relief Society Room of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
