Vangie Beals Padilla

Vangie Beals Padilla, a resident of Central, entered into eternal life Sunday evening, January 28, 2019, at her residence. She was 36. Vangaleih Beals was born on September 22, 1982 in Morenci, Arizona to Rick and Christi Beals. She lived in Morenci with her family until the age of 2, when the family moved to Solomon, Arizona. She attended Kindergarten and 1st grade in Solomon Schools. The family moved to Safford, Arizona in 1989 where Vangie attended the rest of her grade school, Jr. High and graduated from Safford High School in 2001. Shortly after high school, Vangie moved to Prescott, Arizona where she met and married Daniel Padilla. Vangie soon moved back home to Safford. Her first son, Kotter Padilla was born in 2006. Vangie and Daniel later divorced. Vangie met Johnny Nieto in 2014. Her son, Kanyon Noah Nieto was born on September 9, 2015. Vangie was very athletic throughout her life. In high school she participated in volleyball, basketball and softball. She was awarded the Bellamy Award (most athletic girl) her senior year. She was a crack shot with a pistol or rifle and good at bowling. Vangie enjoyed doing anything outdoors, family vacations, cooking, eating salsa or anything spicy. Vangie had several jobs throughout her life. She worked at KFC during high school. After she graduated, she worked as a CNA in Prescott, Arizona. Later, she worked as a dental assistant in Tucson, Arizona. Her favorite job was being a homemaker and a mother. Vangie was a very patient and loving mother to her children. She loved her children fiercely. Vangie was preceded in death by: her brother, Jeffery C. Beals; grandfather, Lee Ray Talley; and her grandmother, Sandra Beals. She is survived by: her sons, Kotter Beals and Kanyon Nieto; parents, Rick and Christi Beals; her brother, Jason Beals (Samantha); and her paternal grandmother, Vangeline Bryce. Vangie was simply unforgettable. She was the kind of person that even if someone met her just once, they would always remember her. She was beautiful, smart, loyal, loving and would help anyone she thought was snuggling or in need. She was deeply loved by her children, family and friends and will be eternally missed.

I am so sorry for your loss. Vangie was always such a sweet and welcoming friend to me when I moved to Safford. We had such great memories playing ball together.
