Russ has been our neighbor for over 30 years. I always enjoyed talking to him and he would always take time to stop any talk when he was out and about on his walks with JoJo. Our grief and sadness is beyond words and my heart aches knowing I can't see him or talk to him until we meet again. You could not have asked for a better, caring man. I will miss him every day! May you rest with the Angels, Russ, until we meet again!

Our family is deeply saddened that Russ has passed on. Russ and our son, Joey, lived next door to one another for many years, and we could not have asked for a more considerate and caring neighbor. We hope his family and friends know how much he was appreciated by the people that saw him daily, and spoke with him often. He was an honorable, decent man, and his qualities helped to shape our neighborhood for the better. He will be greatly missed, and our condolences go out to his family. Joey, Patti, and Larry Gutos

I was so surprised to hear that Kim had passed. I didnt even know his first name was Russell! I remember Kim from junior high and high school in Pima. He had a funny sense of humor and liked to laugh, though he always seemed rather shy. He was always very kind to everyone and very smart. I havent seen him in years, but I am sad, because his family will miss his presence.

Lots of memories of Uncle Kim. He was always so welcoming and kind. Loved Thanksgivings at his immaculate home. He always had a big smile and a great sense of humor. I was about 5 or 6, staying with Uncle Kim while mom and dad went somewhere and he was in charge of shower time for me. It was the first time in my life someone made me wash my face with soap. Something like that makes an impression on a little boy who had never put soap on his face. Youre great mom but how does something like that go unnoticed? I loved listening to him play the piano, it seemed like all of Kims joy, love, peace and sometimes rage were expressed through his amazing musical ability. I know Im not the only one blessed by his talents he shared so freely. You will be missed Uncle Kim. Jeremy Hughes

Russ and I enjoyed seeing each other one or twice a year for the last 40 years. I enjoyed his easy-going personality and his warm smile. He was always so fun as we talked about politics, education, music and his travel plans. What a great guy. I will miss him. He was a good friend.
