Judith Ann Connell, of Clifton, entered into rest early Wednesday morning, November 6, 2019, at her residence following a brief illness. Judy was 76. Services for Judy are currently pending and will be announced at a later date.

Judy was... Preceded in death by her parents, Russell and Ailie; her First Love, Brent Fossen and his parents - her decades-long family friends, Mary & Bud Fossen; her life partner, Don Korhonen & his parents, Bill and Mary; and her nephew Adam Schneider, among others friendly/familial. And yeah, I'm gonna add her cat, Suka, to that list. :innocent::heart: Survived by her 3 siblings Terri(David) Riley, Donna Saari, and Phillip(Penny) Schneider; her "little brother of another mother", Forrest "Buck" Fossen; 3 children - Tony Harootunian, Tanya Boettcher, and Tyler Connell; 3 nieces - Jody Stajskal, Meggin McLean, & Kirsten Batchhelder, 7 grandchildren -Court Spaulding, Nicholas, Elijah & Emily Connell, Billy Noblett, Hunter and Chance Larson, as well as 2 great nephews and 3 great grandbabies, plus an abundance of friends and other familials she adored, all of whom will miss Judy's presence in their lives. A wonderful and devoted family woman, a hard worker, and a wonderful cook who liked dock-fishing for sunnies and looking for iron ore pellets along the train tracks with her grandbabies. She had good aim too, whether with a slingshot, .22, darts, or a skeeball. She enjoyed playing in her yard and caring for her wild birds and other critters that'd care to stop & stay. A great gardener as well, from Columbine to Natsturtiums to Zinnias, Judy loved her flowers. She also enjoyed making memorial ice molds to honor her deceased loved ones at Christmastime, with flowers, evergreens and such frozen into it and a place hollowed for a a lone pillar candle down in the middle. So, if any feel like doing this to honor Judy, or even hanging out a little suet for some wintering birds, I'm sure she'd appreciate the sentiment. From one of her all-time favorite Christmas Carols - "Mary's Boy Child" to Classic Rock, Country, & Pop, and even a little Jazz and Classical, Judy loved music of all kinds. So...Luke Bryan - "Drink A Beer" :notes:These Are A Few Of My Favorite Things... So long, my Friend. Twas an Honor to make your acquaintance in this world.

Such a beautiful lady...Finnish and grew up, resided and worked hard in northern Minnesota. Considered her a fun sister-in-law with a great sense of humor, especially about living in exotic Swan River! Loved her and will miss her beautiful smile and giggle. Gloria WB
