Joy was such a perfect name for her. She spread joy to everyone. After she found out I loved tamales, she always brought me some every Christmas and I think my birthday too. My love and appreciation grew for her with every bite!! My sympathy and best wishes to all her family.

Joy is my grandaunt through my maternal grandfather Clarence Crandall via his (predeceased) daughter Clare. As far as I'm guessing, the last I saw Joy was at Clarence's funeral in 2007, maybe back in 2011 for a family reunion to commemorate Clarence's would've-been hundredth birthday. At least she's reunited with her parents and all her older siblings.

I've been wondering how Joy was doing. I miss her so much. She was such a wonderful Relief Society President. Her cinnamon rolls were so good! She was so good to me, I loved her so much! Prayers of comfort for all her fun family.
