My thoughts and prayers are with Barb's children and family today. Barb was always full of fun when we were growing up. She had a great sense of humor and loved to laugh. I'll always remember the Halloween parties we had in Jeannine's garage in Amesbury and the Luau parties. I was always sorry that we lost touch when she moved to California and never saw each other again. But we did have a wonderful conversation when she called me a few months ago and we reminisced about the past. May all her children find comfort in remembering the good times they shared with her. Rest now my niece and say hello to your Mom and Nana and Grandpa for me. Love you!! "Aunt" Sandy

Eternal God, grant to your servant, Barbara, your peace beyond our understanding. Welcome her into your kingdom. Eternal rest grant unto her, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon her. May the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace.

I first met Barbara when I was a cashier and she was a carry out at Thrifty. She was very friendly and hardworking. I would gladly give her a ride after work to her apartment when our shifts ended at the same time. On occasion I would invite her to my house for lunch. After working at Thrifty for a few years she bought herself a car, a few years after that she bought a house for herself and her daughter. She was very proud of her accomplishments and most of all her children, always speaking highly of them. She was a very fun loving person. Every October she would host a Halloween party at her home, serving the best homemade chile beans ever. Barbara enjoyed dressing up in many different Halloween costumes thru out the years. One year she dressed up as Cheech Marin from the movie Up in Smoke, only she could do that, and I went as Chong. I still laugh when I see that picture of us. Sometimes I would see Barbara and her daughter at mass and they would sit by me. There were also times when St Rose of Lima Parish would have potluck dinners and she would ask me and my husband to sit with her. She was a very good friend to everyone she met. I was hoping to see Barbara one more time after I saw her at the hospital in Tucson, it was hard to see her laying there in her bed when at one time she was laughing and dancing. I got to tell her that I loved her and kiss a good friend goodbye on the forehead. She lived a good, full life. I will always remember her and keep her in my prayers. I will miss you Barbara. My condolences to her family. Love, Judy Morales
