Alvin Christopher Elmer Sr.

Alvin Christopher Elmer was born on August 22, 1930, in Duncan. He passed away on March 8, 2018, at the age of 87, in his home with his loved ones beside him. Alvin was preceded in death by: his mother, Juana Elmer; his father, George Elmer; his son, Alvin Christopher Elmer, Jr.; and his daughter, Hope Hammer. He is leaving behind: his wife of 58 years, Betty; one daughter, Betsy; four sons, Robert, Michael, Joseph and Lee; his sixteen grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Alvin will be missed and loved for the rest of our lives. Funeral services for Alvin will be conducted Saturday morning, March 17, 2018, at 11:00 a.m., at the Duncan L.D.S. Stake Center by by Brother Steve Lunt. Concluding services will follow in the Franklin Cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday morning from 10:00 a.m. until 10:45 a.m., at the Duncan L.D.S. Stake Center Relief Society Room.
