Our Story

Learn our story, from the beginning and into the future.

In 1998, Mark Vining entered the funeral service in Safford with the goal of providing quality, professional funeral service to those in need. Over the course of 20 years, Vining helped to revolutionize the funeral business in Graham and Greenlee County. In addition, Vining built the first, new funeral facility in the Gila Valley in more than five decades which included a chapel with modern accommodations. Personal service, integrity and innovation are the values that guide the Vining Funeral Home as we seek to provide the finest in funeral service to those in need.
