Biography

Dick Cantrell, age 66, of Safford passed away Sunday, February 7th, at Mount Graham Regional Medical Center following a lengthy battle with cancer.

Dick was born April 26, 1943 in Kentucky to the late Fonzie and Mabel Cantrell. He was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. Dick always put his family first. Most people will remember him for his great love of hunting, fishing and bow shooting. He truly enjoyed the outdoors. Dick had started “Movies Unlimited” in 1983 where he met lots of people that soon became his friends. He later was the manager of “Town and Country Wood Stoves and Spas” that also served as the Polaris ATV dealership better known as “Big Boys Toys”, which was right down Dick’s alley.
